Afawih is a “Maison d”Épices fines” in Kairouan. Afawih brings a touch of tradition and authenticity to modern gastronomy inspired from the rich Kairouan style of spices and aromatic substances.
Afawih: A word from the folk heritage of Tunisian cuisine, meaning the yearly prepared spices, and it is the brand of two sisters born into a family deeply rooted in the culinary traditions of the land.
Recently, there has been concern about the authenticity of the products sold due to the prevalence of adulteration in the foodstuffs.
